Where is the best place to stay during the tournament?
We’ve compiled a list of recommended accommodations here. Hotels in San Salvador City are closer to the course and can accommodate more guests, while beach hotels have limited availability, so we suggest booking early.
What is the best way of transportation in the area?
We recommend ride sharing apps like Uber or taxis to get to an from the Golf Course.
The golf course also offers private drivers that can be arranged for transportation from the club to other destinations.
If you wish to hire an airport shuttle, private driver or go on a tour while you are in town please contact Tunco Life.
Overview of options:
- Taxis and Ride-Sharing Apps (e.g., Uber): Best option to get from San Salvador to and from the Golf Course. Convenient for short trips within cities and traveling to destinations like the golf club. Ride-sharing apps are available in San Salvador and other major areas.
- Private Tours: Ideal for organized sightseeing with included transportation and a guide to enhance your experience. The hotel you are staying at will have good tour recommendations available.
- Rental Car - only for experienced drivers (El Salvador traffic is not like US traffic...): Provides flexibility and convenience, especially for exploring remote areas or traveling between cities and tourist spots. However keep in mind that driving conditions can vary, and navigating local traffic might be challenging.
Are there things to do for my non-golfing guest?
The El Encanto Golf Club has an outdoor pool and splash pad. There are restaurants on site. Anyone not participating actively in the tournament is welcome to use the facilities. Entertainment will be provided for non golfing guests. Kids welcome.
Also check out the tours our partners from Tunco Life have to offer here.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! After you purchase your ticket, which includes one non-golfing guest, we’ll confirm if you need any additional non-golfing guests. Each extra non-golfing participant is $200, and we cannot guarantee more than one additional guest per golfer due to limited space (2 non-golfing guests per player). However, we prioritize families, so if you have multiple children, please purchase a ticket and we’ll work with you to accommodate you.
